The ocean has the same percentage of salt in it as the human body,
so in a way everyone carries an ocean inside them.

What storms brew there?
How do our waves crash, erode, and rumble?
How many shorelines have we sworn off only to find our way back to?
How many new shorelines do we call home?

When was the last time you greeted your shoreline?

I believe words matter.

You have to articulate the world you want to live in. We are not born with this language. I aim to help others find and bear witness to the words that matter to them and by extension their particular world.

Areas of Focus:

BURNOUT & SOCIAL JUSTICE

The way information bombards us can make the world both feel small and immense at the same time. This is overwhelming. I provide support and space for those grappling with social justice issues, helping you make sense of your context during these intense times, exploring the space for compassion in your rage and vice versa, along with finding and building ways to stay grounded amidst an uncertain world.

RELATIONSHIPS & COMMUNICATION

We need other people. We need connection. We are not always taught or shown ways to make, nurture, and sustain these connections. Together we can explore how to empower you to understand your own needs, advocate for yourself, and navigate ever changing relationship dynamics with strength and grace.

TRANSITIONS & CHANGE

Change is hard, it is the break up of a something you’ve known, the loss of safety. Change does not need to be faced alone. Counselling can walk along side you as you move through your transitions by allowing space for you to explore the depths of your experience, and expanding your choice of options to navigate new terrain.
